Created by Aude Ménart in 1995, the Art Gallery "Planète-Verre" settle since more than twelfe years in the Bastide of Monpazier, in the hearth of the Perigord region, which is recognised for its rich historic sites, architectural heritage and castles.

 

 

Since its creation, the Gallery "Planète-Verre" specialises in Contemporary Glass, and in July 2005,

contemporary ceramic has taken its place among this beautiful arts collection.

The Artists presented at the Gallery are chosen under specific criteria :

  • Quality of the technique
  • Aestheticism
  • And, of course, originality

Artists should produce a unique piece of art, adding their indivuality to it.

At best, we should be abble to recognize their pieces, without knowing art, only by their style.

Since it's first opening, the Gallery presents pieces of work from young artists, as well as experienced national and international creators.

Aude Ménart is continuously looking for bright young talents, who, one day, will rise to fame, in Art of Glass and Ceramic.



That's explainig that the Gallery display works from national or international widely-known beside the works of unknown ones, but whose artistic future is promising.
